The song, which garnered over 63,000 views in its first 12 hours online, features Biblical references, including lines like “I’ll say sorry to God for all the trouble I caused/Maybe that’s a good place for me to start”. Fans quickly embraced the release, praising its organic sound and emotional depth. In a recent Rolling Stone conversation with Bruce Springsteen, Bryan expressed his desire to transcend genre labels, particularly resisting being categorised solely as a country musician. “Everyone calls me it. I want to be a songwriter,” he explained, drawing parallels to Springsteen’s diverse musical identity.
