Zach Bryan – This World’s A Giant

Zach Bryan continues his prolific streak with “This World’s A Giant”, following his 2024 album “The Great American Bar Scene” and The Quittin’ Time Tour. The new track emerged during what Bryan described as a “heavy” period, first sharing it on Instagram during a practice session with the caption “Worlds been a bit heavy lately, new music tonight”.

The song, which garnered over 63,000 views in its first 12 hours online, features Biblical references, including lines like “I’ll say sorry to God for all the trouble I caused/Maybe that’s a good place for me to start”. Fans quickly embraced the release, praising its organic sound and emotional depth. One listener noted how Bryan “takes elements from country and folk and weaves his own feeling into it”, while another shared how his music helped them through difficult times.

In a recent Rolling Stone conversation with Bruce Springsteen, Bryan expressed his desire to transcend genre labels, particularly resisting being categorised solely as a country musician. “Everyone calls me it. I want to be a songwriter,” he explained, drawing parallels to Springsteen’s diverse musical identity. He pointed out how Springsteen isn’t limited to being called just a rock musician but is recognised for his broader artistic range as a songwriter.
